Snapshot Memories…
Excerpt: We roamed all over the apartment complex and through the woods. We played in the mud, making mud pies, we picked blackberries off of bushes, we pulled legs off granddaddy long legs, and we caught tadpoles in the creeks.

Midnight Train to Delaware
Vacations for my family happened in the summer as we traveled by train to see our relatives. Time with family for any other occassion fell under the umbrella of weddings and funerals. When I grew up, I didn't want to see my entire family for just weddings, funerals and one-week summer vacations. When I grew up, I was going to take real vacations to vacation kinds of places and see my family whenever I wanted to.

Vacation Memories Captured
One of my favorite vacations this summer was not planned. I'm not a fan of impromptu, so when Papa Bear asked if Christopher and I wanted to come with him to Florida and hang out while he attended a photography seminar, I said, "No."
This Chapter Continues
Recap: I've lost my writing mojo, so I've been Netflixing, organizing stuff and putting puzzles together. This summer I've put together six puzzles, cleaned out two closets, completed a major overhaul to Papa Bear's office space and tweaked mine to death. No lie!
Chasing the clouds away...
I can't remember all of my thoughts in my walks and talks with God, but the feeling that comforted me most was knowing that God's blessings are our protection. That's what I have to hope for, have faith in and believe with all my heart. In this post I am sharing 10 bible verses to lift us up and remind us that God Is the ultimate blessing.
I wrote something and pissed off no one!
For me writing or not writing is not all about having the time. I've lost quality time worrying about what to write and who was going to read it. It's held me back and it's steered me. I've worried about it being boring, I've worried about being relevant and I've worried about writing too often..
