Goodnight Roses...

Dear Saturday,

As I turned off the lights in the kitchen, I left on one small light. I looked back and decided to take a picture of my roses because they looked pretty in the dim light. Of course the phone flash went off and I didn't feel like trying to figure out how to get the picture of how they really looked.

I'm bed now on the iPad. The wind is howling, blowing in a cold front.

It's actually a few minutes before midnight and I am wired. So I don't imagine I'll be jumping up in the morning for my morning quiet time. I pretty much know that we will be playing hooky from church because Papa Bear mentioned approximately 15 times that, "It sure is going to be cold in the morning." So now we've all stayed up too late anyway. Cold or not, no one is going to want to get up - if I ever fall asleep.

As of today I have changed my blog theme for the millionth time. I wish I had a screen shot of all my looks over the years. I don't know why I get so much pleasure from changing it. It's a good thing I know how to do it myself. I highly doubt that I would have paid someone to do it as many times as I've changed it and I can't imagine that it would have had to stay the same all these years.

The differences in the past year have been subtle because I keep the same blog font and teal-ish accent color.

Do you notice anything different?

Times up.

Anyway the biggest difference is in my home page. If you type kenyagjohnson.com, you can scroll through all my pages with this neat parallax affect. I need to take some more pictures because I am using the same one over and over again but it works.

This was my 5 minute Stream of Consciousness Sunday post. It’s five minutes of your time and a brain dump. Want to try it? Here are the rules…

  • Set a timer and write for 5 minutes.
  • Write an intro to the post if you want but don’t edit the post. This is writing in the raw.
  • Publish it somewhere. Anywhere. The back door to your blog if you want. But make it accessible.
  • Link your new posts to All Things Fadra (feel free to use her SOC Sunday graphic).
